THANKYOU!

Hey there! I'm Torgo, the Community Officers Program leader.

If you are accepted into the program, you will recieve an email from me giving you all the information you need to get set and zoom off with your Community Officers lifestyle career.

The Community Officers Program is a lot more than just having the pride in becoming an officer, it's a great task to compete in. You must juggle many things at once and you may feel like you are working either too hard or too much. We never ask for too much from a Community Officer as we understand you have day-2-day tasks going on in your real lives such as your choice of education and a range of family and friendship matters. I understand this and I respect your decisions and happenings. We do have a set of rules for officers. At the bottom of any page on the official COP website, you can click on the "Officer Rules" button which will let you in on all the ins & outs of the Officers Program.

Community Officers must help "SPREAD THE WORLD". This can be done by blogging, tweeting, uploading videos, hanging up posters around your town/city and anything creative and possible that you may come up with. We highly boast creativity and fun across the Officers Program. We ask for certain things to be done from our Community Officers through emails and tweets. We may ask you to post within a limited time (for example, 24 hours) about a certain subject or if you havent posted in a length of extended time. If you don't comply we may remove some of your officer reputation points (MORE DETAILS ABOUT POINTS CAN BE FOUND ON THE OFFICER RULES PAGE). We also set goals and tasks on those whom have broken an Officer rule or are wanting to re-gain their reputation points. An example of a Goal would be "Reach 100 new views on your blog within the next 7 days to earn back a Reputation Point" depending on your popularity through out the community.

Community Officers must help keep Turtle World safe. We don't just mean keeping it safe from disasters around the Virtual World or roleplaying actions (such as Edgar The Eagle or events based around the story behind the game). We mean from bad users and so on so forth. Officers are given the oppertunity to "Kick" any bad user from the server. This means if a user is seen breaking a rule, a officer must warn the user to stop. If they continue, the officer mut report and then warn again. If they continue a third time, the Officer must use the kick tool and kick them from the Turtle World servers. If an Officer is banned or kicked by an Official staff member, Moderator or Community Support member. I will be the decider on wether we un-ban you, give you a second chance, keep you banned or kick you from the Officers Program.

One more thing...

You can't give up half way through on your blog or twitter. Or threaten the team with things such as;

"I'm not doing another post or video until you update or give me coins".

Bribes and blackmail will NOT wash with the team or me. I will either warn you and deduct some reputation points or immediately kick you from the team. Also those whom ask to become a Moderator or Staff Member will only be told that they aren't allowed. Being a Community Officer is a PRIVILLAGE that only half or a quater of the turtles signed up will recieve.

Good luck on being chosen.

Yours truly,

Torgo
