The Officer Code

The officer code is a code in which all Community Officers MUST obide by. If one of the Officer Codes are broken, you will have a number of Marks taken from you. Every officer has 10/9/8 Marks to begin with depending on how their first sign up process went. If an officer reaches 5 or below marks, they can face removal from the Community Officers program. HOWEVER, an officer can earn marks back by "Spreading the world" and keeping Turtle World safe. This can be done by hosting in-game events, working with Turtle Social every so often and basic things in this category. Never step a foot out of line and you'll never face removal!

1)Follow the Turtle way.

If a helper is caught breaking one of the rules in the Turtle Way they will loose between 1-8 marks depending on how bad the situation being. Hacking results in a loss of 8 marks and can face strict removal from both the Officers Program and Turtle World. Other rules such as online dating, using foul language e.g, swearing and so on can force a removal between 1/2/3/4 marks depending on how bad the breaking of the Turtle Way is.

 

 

2)Threatening Community Leader.

If you threaten the community leader you will immediately be kicked from the Officers Program. This includes;

"Make me a moderator or I quit", "I quit TW and COP forever because they didn't make me a moderator!!!", "If you don't give me my kick power back I quit TW and COP!!!!!!!" or "I'll hack TW if you don't make me a moderator!". This doesn't work, doesn't scare us. If you quit, it's your loss.

 

 

3)Blaming another officer for something you have done.

Immediate 3 marks removal from your Officers Status. We do investigate and look into these sort of sanctions. So beware.

 

 

4)Quitting Turtle World forever.

If you quit Turtle World, we put your officers status on "Trial". This means that you are immediately given up to 6 weeks to post on your blog, moderate turtle social or turtle world or take part in any Officers Event before you recieve removal from the Officers Program. You WILL however be able to sign up to become an officer again when applications are open.

 

 

5)Arguing with a Moderator.

Not everyone gets along, we understand. If you argue with one of the official staff members of Turtle World, we will automatically remove 2 marks from your Community Officer status. No if's no but's. We want a nice environment for everyone to hang out in, not a battle ground between an official staff member(The people who actually make the game possible) and a responsible young adult/teenager whom is supposed to be setting a good example for other Turtle World users.

 

 

6)Posting lies or false information on your blog.

If we catch you posting lies or false information that hasnt been confirmed by a staff member we will remove 3 marks immediately from your Officers Status. This is a serious offence in the program. If we also ask you to remove something and you don't within 72 hours, this rule applies. The same goes for posting sneak peeks or links without our permission.

 

7)Giving away information of others.

Immediate ban. No if's. No but's.

 

 

8)Giving away top secret Community Officer information.

This is an immediate ban. This includes passwords, links from the portal and so on, so forth.
